Field Detail

STATENAME

public static final java.lang.String STATENAME

The name of the state property. Changes to this are broadcast to PropertyChangeListeners when the monitor state changes in a significant way. (FIFO and elapsed time changes are not significant, although track lifecycle events are.) Resizable containers may wish to listen to these events; if the track *has* changed, then the filename length may be different enough that a window resize is required. The value of the property is the new preferred size of the panel. The old-value parameter is NOT reliable and should be ignored. Although these events are 1:1 with AudioController events, you should listen to these instead in order to ensure that everything happens in the right sequence.

pl - The playlist the controller is playing from.

Call this in the dispatch thread before attempting to display the GUI. You can use SwingUtilities.invokeAndWait(java.lang.Runnable) to do this. MT-UNSAFE - dispatch thread only.

startHeartBeat

public void startHeartBeat()

Start the heartbeat timer. Do this immediately after displaying the GUI. For use in applets, do this in your Applet.start.

stopHeartBeat

public void stopHeartBeat()
