public class ConsistencyException
extends ArghException

A BeeTree has become corrupt. Some portion - perhaps most - of the data therein is probably recoverable, but all bets are off and it's really time to restore from backup. Hopefully you'll never see one of these in a production database! Here are some reasons why you might get one of these horrors:

• Broken BeeTree code. We've been using BeeTree internally for several years now, with no problems at all. Hopefully this means that it's bugless.
• Marshal methods which throw. Marshal methods are not allowed to throw exceptions except due to force majeure, such as hardware failure. Under these circumstances, the remainder of the beetree is probably OK.
• Force majeure, such as hardware failure. (NB. running out of disk space is considered to be such a hardware failure.)
